    Hello,

I have two children with autism, both full time in school (at the high functioning end of the spectrum) One parent at home full time, so childcare/minding is not an issue. However they can be very very challenging so we need someone to assist us. Has anyone any experience of Care Assistants who would 'Live In' with a family? We're not looking for a Nanny or Au Pair but perhaps a similar type of set up as an Au Pair albeit a more reliable long term option. (Eg. All food, accommodation, transport would be covered by us and only particular hours assisting required so we don't go insane, well paid and treated as member of the family )

Are there any websites or organisation to look up? Any I've seen tend to be more child minding or elderly care focussed. We were thinking someone who works in a nursing home as a care assistant might be of interest.

    Thanks for your help.
