New AV Reciever

Hi all, In the market for an AV receiver and speakers. Can’t make my mind up on the Denon AVRX 2700 or the Yahama RXV6A, any thoughts or is there another option around that price bracket. Also looking to add new speakers to the package, not an audiophile but priority for me is dialogue clarity, don’t want to annoy the neighbours too much either. Unfortunately where the tv is situated I’d struggle to get a sound bar in as the shelf underneath is only 75cm in width. Any advise would be most welcome. Thanks.

Both are great AV receivers but the 2700 does pip it. The 2700 is 5 start reviewed in what HiFi. The 2700 stock that we have is the updated version to correct the 120Fps issue.

Hi Kenny and thanks for the reply.

Was siding with the Denon but just needed to hear from the people that know. The speaker packages look decent value, aside from price which one would you recommend, the priority for me is dialogue. Don’t want to fallout with the neighbours so power from subs etc isn’t a deal breaker. Also do the packages come with speaker cable.

The 2700 with DX2 would be a great purchase keeping it just under the grand.

The subwoofer can be turned up or down to suit your needs and you can adjust the Db in the menus to also help if you are worried about the neighbours.

Speaker cable and a sublink is not include with the DX2 pack.

For speaker cable I would recommend the QED Micro. It retails at £2.50 per meter but I can offer it at £1.75 / 2.05 Euro
