A lot of private messages that I've exchanged with people have disappeared

I logged into my Boards account just now after being away for a few months because I was trying to look for information within private messages exchanged with other members over the years and a lot of them have completely vanished. I'm wondering why this is? The site seems to have gotten a new design and now I'm worried…

The site seems to have gotten a new design and now I'm worried that they may have deleted a lot of stuff from their databases to save on resources or something along those lines?

Any help would be appreciated!

Older PMs have been deleted following issues identified after the site platform was changed a few months ago
