    Sorry if this is the wrong forum, I tried to narrow down the options and this seems the least wrong place.


    I have an electrical item that I was hoping to get repaired, before I try to replace it.

    The item is an apim (computer module) from my car.

    While I was toying around with it, the input for the GPS antenna came off, but left the core exposed. I MacGyvered a solution by soldering the input back on but eventually the core came off too. Does anyone know if this can be repaired as it's about 300 euro to replace.
