Pheasant shooting

I have a young pointer and pheasants are very scarce on the ground is there any place in ireland I could hunt and pay per pheasant shot in order to get him a few birds to get him going

Going to a shoot with a young pointer dog would not be the thing to do, too many birds too much excitment. As said above buy a few pheasants and put them out on your ground, how old is the dog?

He is 14 months old very well trained dropping quartering sitting retrieving recalls etc just no birds on the ground I will take your advice and buy some as we have wild bird cover to release them in
