SIM Only Plan for Internet Backup

Hey all,

I would like to buy this router https://www.netgear.com/ie/home/mobile-wifi/routers/lbr20/ to have an LTE backup connection when my Internet is out.

I just need enough speed to send/receive commands to my alarm system.

I cannot seem to find a 12 month (or more) SIM-only data plan (at an acceptable price) that allows me to buy just a few GB of traffic and leave the sim card permanently in the router without worrying about top ups etc.

The only one I could find is this, but it is from UK

I would use it once a month just to keep it alive (SMS/data transfer)

My connection is very stable, but I want the peace of mind of a backup.

I answer my own (dumb) question... I just need to get any simcard, put some credit on it and keep it alive once a month. The credit will not expire and the 4G will work, too.

I ended up using Things Mobile sim card. Just amazing
