Hi very simple issue but tearing my hair out for last week over it..

Friend in UK transfered £120 sterling to my Irish Ulster Bank account.

    IBAN and BIC correct.

    Money has left her account.

Money has not arrived in our account after 8 days. She paid £15 for a next day transfer.

Nat West say its an Ulster bank issue. Ulster Bank say they cannot see it anywhere and its a Nat West issue.

I have no idea how to resolve. Could anyone offer any advice? Thank you

It's a your friend or NatWest issue. Are you sure they used the right details. That should have been a pretty fast transfer.

Make your life easier, get revolt for future use.

Your friend will have to ask NatWest to place a trace on the funds.

No need to pay next day charges as once the transfer is done before 2pm it gets there the next day.

That's what I find on any UK/Ireland transfers.

My guess is a number was entered incorrectly or address did not match. UK banks are very strict these days on information matching - not just account number.
