US students travelling in Northern Ireland May 2022

18 US students touring Ireland in May 2022, having difficulty finding suitable youth hostel accommodation in Northern Ireland. Most of the hostels searched seem to be homeless hostels. Armagh City Hostel not responding to emails or telephone calls, probably closed? Group would consider Belfast city but prefer something outside the city.

Any suggestions for clean, safe hostel accommodation in Northern Ireland, please? Many thanks.

It depends where in Northern Ireland you want to go and how you plan on traveling.

Our public transport is not great especially in the more rural areas. I can think of a couple of places in the Glens of Antrim but getting there is the problem Look at Ballyeamon Barn at the top of Glenariffe but again no public transport.
