Parking permit, choosing a second road

    I may be moving to a new house in Dublin, in a very small road, off a main road. I've been told I can get a parking permit for the small road, plus my choice of one of the bigger roads in the area. It seems to be a common thing for small roads and lanes in Dublin.

    My question: if I choose a particular road as my "second road", would it be possible to change that later?

    I think DCC assign the secondary road - happens to a few small roads around D8 that they can park on the road my parents live.

    Yes I think that would be the case. There's one "second road" which I'd like to choose because it also has electric charging bays on it. So the permit would cover using those. But it's not the longest road either, so I'd like to have the option to change later that if I found it hard to find a spot!
