Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Deserves his own thread.

Now retired, he's probably third on the list of Premier League strikers behind Henry and Shearer - and you could probably make a case that he could be higher.

Scored the most iconic goal in Premier League history.

He, along with Vincent Kompany and David Silva defined that Manchester City team for a decade.

I love the way he played the game.

It's also underappreciated just how hard he worked to gain Pep's trust after it looked like he might be on his way out. It showed the character and talent of the man.

    A true great.

Apparently, Pep was at the Nou Camp today for the announcement. He certainly seemed to win Pep around. Just a pity that his last couple of seasons with us were pretty much ruined with ongoing injuries.

Sad end to his career. Incredible player.

Best striker of the PL for me. Could do it all. Injuries blighted his time alright, but still made a massive impact.

Sad way to end his career alright. Hopefully he can have some sort of friendly game in a year's time where he can get the send off he deserves.
