No power in Stanley cooker

We found a leak this evening. However our Stanley oil fired cooker has no power going to it. Have changed the fuse in the plug and there's power in the the switch so just wondering if anyone has any ideas why there's no power going to the cooker?

Is the leak repaired?

I think there may also be a reset switch on some Stanley cookers , maybe a Google for a little more info.

Leak is in the process of being repaired. New circulating pump being fitted at rhe minute.

There's no power in it at all. The electric display is dead and there's no orange light working on the bottom of it.

have you checked your fuse board/consumer unit

The switch you say has power going to it

you also said you changed the fuse in the plug

have you tested this fuse to ensure it works(in another appliance)

The socket has power.. have tried my phone charger in it!

Check the fuse in the plug again. Use one from a lamp or something you know is working

also check the high limit stat to be 100% sure it hasn’t activated. This can activate if there’s no circulation from the pump

From your pic its clear that these power points are not for the cooker you mention... there is no visible plug-op ans the cables are coming from seems like a press to circulating pump ans to supply box...

Well the plug from cooker was plugged in to socket under the white box since we moved in to the house over 10 years ago!

The white cables are coming through the wall as the cooker is situated on the other side of the wall.

There is a fuse in the bottom of the cooker that was blown. Replaced the fuse and all was good again! Hopefully it'll stay that way for a while now!
