Financial Advisor for moving to Ireland

I have a relation, fairly well off salary and investments wise, moving to Ireland who is looking for general advice (which is vague) on managing taxation and mortgages etc, given he could probably get paid in UK or Ireland, use holding companies etc.

They're asking for a recommendation for a financial advisor (pms welcome). I know there's a lot of financial advisors out there but that all are not created equal! And that there are also good and bad accountants.

So first things first, do you want a good financial advisor or good accountant for such a scenario? And any recommendations?
