I have to say it has been a cracking year for TV!

Lovely to see Alma's not normal so high as well as starstruck, we are lady parts and back to life.

Some criticism I would have, the latest series of line of duty was a disappointment to be honest, it shouldn't in a million years be higher than the excellent Unforgotten. The hunt for a killer I would also have higher.

A few strange omissions like dopesick and Hawkeye (maybe not illegible?).

Some really excellent ones not in list as well

-The chestnut man

Dexter wasn't on the list.

I didn't like 'It's a sin'. Too over the top and fake and full of 'luvie darling' gay stereotyping. The silly gambits like the coffee scene just made me face palm. We aren't allowed to take gay people seriously it always has to be over the top and silly season. Not much depth or complexity.

Top two feel right to me. If I looked back on the year I’d call them my two favourite shows, too. It’s a Sin was an absolute masterpiece.

I honestly wouldn't have it at number 1, but I found it massively affecting and moving, you can tell Russell T Davies lived through that time. It was a snapshot I don't expect a TV show to reflect my experience, but it felt really true to me, uplifting and heartbreaking in equal measures.

Really enjoyed MoE and The White Lotus, which are 2 & 3 on the list. Will catch it's a sin at some stage.

Any recommendations from the list to binge over the Xmas. Currently watching Dopesick.

It's a really solid list. You won't regret watching any of the top 50, it depends what you are in to but I loved Almas not normal.
