    Hi,

My parents own a small country (old mans) pub, so low ceiling and a few smaller areas. They are looking to upgrade their sound system. Currently, thay have Hifi type of system with, CD player, Radio receiver connecting into a small amp. There they have about 7 speakers around the pub in 2 zones. The speakers are the shoe box size ones, nothing special. The system is used for background music mostly. Its not used for busy Saturday night discos or anything.

I am looking to get them a new system that can avail of internet radio and Spotify, maybe connect to the TV (for the GAA matches) and one of their main asks is for smaller speakers as some of them a situated in low ceiling areas and the current ones can get in the way.

I was looking at this bundle:

I understand that its under the home cinema section, but it looks to tick all the boxes. But I suppose I don't know if it has enough sound behind it for a noisy pub. From what I understand I can do the following (please correct me if wrong)

+ Connect Amazon echo/dot and play radio and spotify via that

+ Connect the TV to it when needed

    + Create separate zones.

+ Small speaker (The cables are built into the wall so I will have to use whats there.

+ Will be able to use the existing CD player

Any recommendations on this? Is this something that could work? Will it have enough sound? If not what would you recommend.

    Regards,

    Pete
