You don't seem to get it. Veganism is a philosophy, not a diet, so to refer to something as veganism when in fact all that's being referred to is a diet which can be consumed by vegans and non vegans, is disingenuous. The fact that a vegan diet can then also have so many different make ups, makes it an even bigger error. A vegan diet is more about what people choose not to eat, than what they do eat and this is only ever from an ethical perspective when referring to it as vegan, rather than anything to do with health, environment or any other aspect. Neither yourself or the author from your original link have shown any sources of where anyone has stated that veganism can cure death. Even the idea of such a statement is absurd. How could following a philosophical way of life make one cure death, what even is curing death? The article is completely disingenuous.

Your link above is also flawed. There is no debate as to whether honey is vegan or not and to say "Most vegans extend the definition of veganism to go beyond just food." is completely incorrect too. I'll say it again, veganism is a way of life, that extends far beyond food and diet.

As somebody who appears to seek out discussions mentioning anything to do with "vegan", please better educate yourself with what veganism actually is and is not.
