Christmas Day was it a non event?

New Year’s Day is set to be the same for me anyway. I’ve chatted with a few folks and we all seem to have felt Christmas Day and the lead up to it just felt very…. Not here this year.

its surely covid, but I just feel like Christmas was almost not here. Honestly it just felt like a regular old Saturday except all the shops were closed and everyone had the day off!

it can’t just be me and a few people I’ve spoken to who felt the festivities just weren’t there.. it was missing something. I don’t know what though.

It was a non event for me but nothing to do with Covid

Has to be one of the warmest Christmases in years. We didn't even have the heating on. No one I knew met up for drinks because of Covid and the restrictions.

Unless you have little kiddies at home I think this Christmas was a write off.

Spent it in north Germany this year beside a frozen lake with the snow absolutely bucketing down and temperatures well into the minus. Glad I got away from Ireland for it tbh.
