What age do sheep have to be to qualify for ANC payment in the census?

Are March 2021 lambs eligible as 0.15 livestock units in 2022?

They have to be over 12 mths old on the date of the census, 31st dec, technically they were only lambs then.

There is, I think, a concession that you can use them to replace culled ewes with them in the spring

Is it possible to do the Sheep Census on Agfood. ie, i have been onnthe site but cant seem to see where i can input the info

It's under the "Animal Identification and Movements", then click continue, then click "Sheep" and then Census at the top left of the page and then "Create" from the drop down menu...

For 13 hectares what is the number of hoggets (lambs born April 21) needed for the ANC payment for 7 months and 12 months?

how is the number calculated? Is it 0.15 for ewes and 0.26 for hoggets as follows

13 x 0.15 keep 13

13 x 0.26 x 7 = 24 hoggets
