Can anyone recommend a 40 meter wall mounted hose

Hi all,

Thanks for reading. I am sick of the garbage hoses that are out there. I want the very best wall mounted auto retracted hose.

Can anyone recommend one ? I also read the very best hoses should be something called "No Torsion Hose"

The best I have found isn't an auto retract - they rely on a spring which will fail eventually. I have fitted several of the fully enclosed Hozelock ones with the winding handle on the side. They have proved reliable.

I bought this one in March 2012 and still as good as new, the auto layering thing is brilliant (i have another different one in the front that doesnt autolayer and its a bit of a faff).

I aggree with Discodog, anything autowinding that length is going to need a big spring thats likely to break eventually. Its not hard to turn the handle.

That's the one that I have fitted for several clients. The auto layering plus the separate roller guide makes rewinding easy.
