Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

a very slow day but hopefully a few winners from this lot

TQ VIEW 'Best Bet': 4.30 Kempton: THINK TRIGGER - The Gary Moore yard remain in great form and they look to have a leading chance here with this 4 year-old. Into a handicap for the first time today after three fair runs and should be a lot more competitive now he's got a mark and also upped to a mile.

Tony Nb:  Lake Sand 17.00 Kempton  It is understandable that the Ali Stronge team has begun to feel persecuted so long is the list of their poorly-drawn horses. At least the in-form Lake Sand has a master rider to help overcome that difficulty at Kempton this evening. A clear run could bring him a third win in his last four attempts.

TQ VIEW 'Each-Way': 7.00 Kempton: CAPRICORN PRINCE (e/w) - Won well last time out at Lingfield for the Moore camp. Harder race as having to give weight away to two in-form rivals too, but is a CD winner here at Kempton too and did it well last time to suggest he can be competitive again here with a similar effort.

TONY NAP:  Reset Button 19.00 Kempton  Like a number of winning runners for his sire Yorgunnabelucky, Reset Button has been a late developer but is in a decent vein of form now. The four-year-old has been in the first two the last three times and at this modest level could get back to winning ways for Ian Williams and owner-breeder Roger Brookhouse.

Won under a great front running ride last week and all his five wins have been here. Penalty is negated to a certain extent by good claiming rider who has won on him before. Can't be totally discounted, though this is tougher.Moosmee

Plenty to prove on the all weather but had feasible excuses in recent starts. Probably his last try and big outsider but retains plenty of ability so interesting to see what happens.Henry Oliver

    DEC Odds: 6.4 (Betfair Exc)

Top return run last month after 2 years off (2nd). Has done well since at home and just 2lbs higher here. We were pleased with the way he travelled that day and we think the longer trip will improve him. I guess the dreaded 'bounce factor' is in play after such a time off, but he's been doing everything right at home and with a bit of improvement from that last run much have a great chance.

    Eairsidh

    Wed 12th Jan 2022

    13:20, Leicester

    DEC Odds: 7.2 (Betfair Exchange)

This is first time over fences for Eairsidh but we think he could well make a better chaser than hurdler and his pedigree suggests that should be the case. He ran okay at Taunton over too short a trip on that sharp track. He will be happier at Leicester on both scores but the vital point is a safe educational round and anything more will be a bonus.

    Storm Melody

    Wed 12th Jan 2022

    14:05, Lingfield

    DEC Odds: 20 (Betfair Exchange)

I don't believe it. The worst draw of all again for Storm Melody and even though he overcame it last time he's up in class and shouldn't win this on form. The conundrum again is do we gun him from the outside or slip him in behind the pace and go onto the rail? I'll be shocked if he wins this time.

    Naizagai

    Wed 12th Jan 2022

    14:20, Leicester

    DEC Odds: 3.6 (Betfair Exchange)

Naizagai is not the most consistent and his valuable weight-for-age advantage in chases last year has now been almost exhausted. At his best he would go close and he looks to have a decent chance of getting in the money.

    Sophosc

    Wed 12th Jan 2022

    14:35, Lingfield

    DEC Odds: 5 (Betfair Exchange)

Sophosc has been very consistent in recent runs in a busy spell but his latest wide-margin win at Wolverhampton has brought him an 8lb rise. That 74 is still 10lb lower than his historical highest mark so hopefully there is still some scope. This a better race, albeit with a small field, but he has his chance again.

    Gary Moore

    Semser

    Wed 12th Jan 2022

    15:35, Lingfield

    DEC Odds: 6.2 (Betfair Exc)

Was meant to run again last week but came out to give the horse another week off after winning at Lingfield in the middle of December. Up just a pound for that win over 1m4f here and the drop back to 1m2f will be fine as we know he stays further and will try to make full use of that. Shane Kelly takes over in the saddle and everything points to another big run and hopefully he can go in again, but does lok to face stern tests from the likes of Virgo and Noble Peace.

    Charlie Fellowes

    Virgo

    Wed 12th Jan 2022

    15:35, Lingfield

    DEC Odds: 4.3 (Betfair Exc)

Went very close at Newcastle and is slowly getting the hang of things. He is definitely better than his current mark and hopefully the addition of cheekpieces and a decent draw (2) will see him finally get his head in front.

    Think Trigger

    Wed 12th Jan 2022

    16:30, Kempton Park

    DEC Odds: 3.95 (Betfair Exc)

Another that was meant to run last week but came out that day in the end. So makes his handicap debut here instead and after three fair runs should be much more competitive here today. The step up to a mile is fine and Rhys booked to claim 3lbs helps. Has also tasted the track here at Kempton, when staying on well over 7f last time here so that experience and the extra furlong are other pluses. Should not be far away.

    Lake Sand

    Wed 12th Jan 2022

    17:00, Kempton Park

    DEC Odds: 8 (Betfair Exchange)

You guessed it! Another high draw and in the case of Lake Sand who can be very free in the early stages, exactly where I didn't want to be. He has been running well but it will not be easy for David to get him cover if he pulls from the gate. Chances, but everything has to go right for hm.

    Capricorn Prince

    Wed 12th Jan 2022

    19:00, Kempton Park

    DEC Odds: 12.5 (Betfair Exc)

Came back to the track with a bang last week with a top win at Lingfield. Into a similar Classified Stakes race here and is also a CD winner here at Kempton so the switch in tracks is fine. Does have to give a bit of weight away this time though so will need more on these terms, but Rhys helps by taking off 3lbs again. Did it well last time too, so a repeat of that run should see him in the shake-up with an e/w chance, but this does look a slightly harder race with the Ian Williams and Best/Jewell runners respected.

I've a few beauts lined up.

1.35 Lingfield, Magical dias, around 5/4 currently. I've backed this at bigger odds and if it hits 6/4 ill go in again. This should bolt in here. Ran over 1m and 7f,but at 6f today and will suit. My best bet of the day by far.
