From the RTE website. Is this a runner? Would be great if it happens. Was in the jail over 40 years ago. Back in the day when you could just walk in and have a look. No H & S back then. Met one of the Council staff who had been there for years and remembered when it was in use. Of course I asked where the gallows were but…

One of the cells had boxes upon boxes of old motor log books. He told that if you saw a number you liked, you could reregister your car for a few quid. Unfortunately, best I could come up with was a bicycle.

Sounds like this could be great for the town. If it is as popular as other gaols around the country it would get plenty of visitors.
