Hey all. Just hoping that I could get some advice here.

Does anyone know if referrals to jobpath actually ended in 2021 or has it been once again extended for another year as a friend of mine got referred to it 5 days before Christmas 2021 and is being hounded by them now in 2022. I cant seem to find any new updates or posts about them for 2022. Everything is from a year ago and everyone seems to believe that referalls ended I'm 2021.

What a waste of money & time that they are I really and genuinely hope that this has not been extended for another year to torment people & waste money.

So I was just wondering if it was just plain bad luck that he got referred right at the end of 2021. It seemed very sly to as he just lost self employment a week before hand and re signed into the social welfare only got his first payment and was sent a letter that week being referred to them. I just wonder how random it is or are they just trying to shove as many people as possible into the program to keep them going.

It was extended unfortunately and a never ending cycle of stupidity and tax payer expense . I'm not entirely sure when referrals to this awful nonsensical scheme end.

Your probably better off seeking info in the state benefits forums.

    Mod Note

I'm going to move your thread over to State Benefits OP, which is probably a better place for it.

    Local charter now applies

    Thanks

Even if Job path had been stopped, it doesn't matter.

People are also referred to LES(Local Employment services).

So you still get bi monthly calls that you can set your watch to.
