Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Starting thread early.. just in case anyone wants to chip in 😊 .... Please do !, as according to a recent thread in this here forum, only "degenerates" post here now, and all fools - like me - should be able to post 😂

Give a few picks, and reasons are always welcome, so provide a few of those, if ya like; or don't ! 😁

Anyway, onto a pick.. Looked at Southwell, and one who caught the eye was BOBBY JOE LEG in the 7.05.. Normally only runs at Newcastle - mainly - or Wolves.. Only the there poor runs at this track; but now that Southwell has had a change of surface; and very interesting it is the trainer sends him here, and I feel as if Ruth reckons that Bobby Joe Leg could go very well here over his favourite trip of seven furlongs... Not gone unnoticed though, and he's a general 13/2 - 7/1 in the early betting...

He's actually the only one I looked at here.. 😋 But,, he does like to chase the pace, and, being drawn low in three; and, assuming he likes the surface, he's well primed to chase the pace, and swoop, likely off the last bend, but maybe in the last 100yds or so.. That's my thinking, and, regardless, he's value for a €5 win on blind faith, at the current available prices...

    😊 Gluck

17/2 Bobby Joe was in PP when I ventured doon this morn.... Was obliged to back him ew at those odds 😋 Had a cursory look at opposition, and none of them jumped off the page as likely winners.

I'm looking at Strategic Fortune in 7:05, he started favorite or 2nd fav in his last 4 starts like win was anticipated but hasn't happen yet. Could it be today? There's some market support behind, and I'm tempted to follow it. I like you pick too, l.

    2.35 Plumpton UALLRIGHTHARRY 2/1 PP

Looks the one in this Veterans' Handicap Chase for Conditional Jockeys that is most likely to run his race.. Is a course winner from 2019, and ran a good race at the course 2 runs back, where he came 2nd over slightly further on good ground.

Was backed from 7/2 earlier on into as low as 13/8.. Looks to have the best chance here and 2/1 is about as short as ya'd like to be backing him at.. The early morning favourite was way too short at ~5/4, but now Top And Drop is available to back @ 15/4 PP, and certainly looks the value now. No surprise to see Gary Moore's Cheque En Blanc seeing some money, being as the trainer sends a lot of his to the track, but, if the Grade doesn't do for him, I feel the ground will be too good to see this animal involved. None of the rest make any appeal at all, with perhaps the topweight Rocky's Treasure being of a modicum of interest @ 10s gen; but he has to shoulder a heavy burden of 12st for one who likes to lead. Was a lot shorter earlier, and wouldn't be a massive surprise to see him prevail.

If I was to have a bet, it would be a small win on the selection at 2/1, but I couldn't be bothered going back to the shop again ! 😄, and I won't be too disappointed should Kevin Brogan's mount prevail.

I've got no time for hr today. Two small nibbles on Strategic Fortune I mentioned above, and Invincible Larne in 7:35, he seems to be finishing his races well but struggles to get his nose in front, opposition is quite strong but you never know.

Uallrightharry not good enough.... 2nd to the well backed 7/2 winner Innisfree Lad - didn't see him being involved at all in this 😴

That Apiafi is a useless tipster... Don't know what wins this race on now, but i reckon it won't be the odds on jolly...
