What should be the cutoff score, 20,21 or 22? Whatever it is will be used for all league tables.

20 seems a bit low, you'd have to get at least one 2 to make it, and that can be very much down to luck.

Would it be better to decide how many you want in the final week, and take the top x players each week? Otherwise we may end up with a situation where once the strongest players get through, we may struggle to get qualifiers from the later weeks.

That could work. I’m gonna get some shut eye and hopefully you lot have the rules sorted for when I wake 😊

I think Wench and Mundo make a good point. Those irritating words where you can waste several attempts trying to identify the last letter, might leave us all with inflated scores some weeks. It's easier not decide on a fixed number as the cut-off point but take the top three or four from the league whatever their actual total.
