One thing I found in Wordle is that when you are searching for one letter and there are many possible options, the letter that gives the rarer word, or the lesser used letter is usually the right one.

They also tend to pick words that are seasonal or related to feelings (or similar) playing the game.

I think you are over estimating how much thought has gone into this. The list of words are predetermined. The originator was more interested in a list of thousands of words that matching up day 438 with some date

Yep think that was it when I did the league.

So sometimes that could be 4 people going through other times could be 7!

Hmm ok I always thought they chose words daily as you would be unlikely to get SNOWY in the middle of summer...but maybe I'm seeing patterns where there are none :)
