    Throwing out a thought here, not sure if it would work. If you want to wordle competitively do what GhostTrain does and keep a running total as well as posting your results. Then on Thursday (or whatever day ends the week) it will be easy enough to check everyone's totals and claim your position, or one person could just do a list of the claimed totals. If anyone wants to they can easily go back and check the claimed winner's totals.

    We are working on trust anyway so I don't think this would be any way different, its only for a bit of satisfaction, doing the wordle is an end in itself.

    It would probably be helpful if someone posting first on a Friday could label their post 'NEW LEAGUE' to make it easier to see when the week begins or maybe the mod would oblige if that person forgets?

    Edit - I don't in any way wish to tread on the toes of anyone who has run the league, if they want to continue then that's great, and much appreciation, but if its a hassle then a self-service version might work.

    Edit edit - I'd be thinking of just having joint firsts so if 5 people get the same winning total then there are 5 winners. Saves having the frustration of getting brilliant scores in the off-week 😀
