Any advice/experience of UK university online courses

    I'm interested in a Masters qualification offered part time and online by Portsmouth, York or Birmingham. There's a few variables in the prices and course content but to be honest i think all of their websites and prospectuses leave something to be desired and are a bit opaque.

    I have been through the Irish 3rd level system but does anyone have any tips or notable differences worth knowing for doing a UK university course by distance?

    Anyone with any experience of any of those institutions would of course be of interest too thanks.
