Bosch Washer Pump playing up

Hi all,

My Bosch washer pump is playing up. It sometimes works perfectly but sometimes it fails to spin.

I can hear the pump attempting to spin but needs a bit of a push via sticking a biro onto the propellor, then it works perfectly but only for about 3 wash / spin cycles.

The filter is clean and as far as i can see so is the propellor shaft.

Is it a a new pump time?

new pump will sort it, you will need the model number when ordering, it is the ENR number which you will find on the inside top of the door rim

Thanks for the reply. I have looked on espares.ie and for my specific model theres 2 choices, both compatiables from the looks of things. One costs about 53 euro and the other 103 euro. I wonder if the dearer one be twice as good.

not really. try exsparetise in tullamore, they are on the net, might be cheaper

Did you have a look at the motor brushes, maybe they’re worn.
