Hi all I destoned and raked my new garden before Christmas but was too late to get seed down. It was seed ready then but now it doesn't look too hot, fair bit of compaction in places from rain and weeds already popping up. I'm wondering do I need to rotovate and rake it all over again? Or is that a bit drastic and a quick…

Hi all
I destoned and raked my new garden before Christmas but was too late to get seed down. It was seed ready then but now it doesn't look too hot, fair bit of compaction in places from rain and weeds already popping up. I'm wondering do I need to rotovate and rake it all over again? Or is that a bit drastic and a quick run over with the hand rake to do the job?
Also whats a good time to seed, Mid march?
