Cable runs in old building

I want to connect 2 floors in an old Georgian office building via network cable.

Both have connection boxes on the wall from eir and virgin.

Which leads me to think that there must be an existing cable run somewhere.

Any ideas how I might find it? Would a competent spark be able to locate it?

I have checked outside, nothing there.

They might be RJ11 sockets on simple twisted pair, or are they RJ45? Usually they route back to an ingress point somewhere on the external wall.

Can you take a photo of these devices?
