Eh? Go look up the Mueller report and linked indictments. What an odd statement you have made.

Im surprised but it was looking like it wasn't going to get passed in the senate so he pulled the plug. Some people who had their bank accounts frozen are being given back their privileges now.

And the deputy PM did say they were making some of the financial powers permanent. Not a conspiracy theory. There will be an enquiry into whether use of the act was justified. Will be interesting to see the outcome of that. I dont think the government freezing the funds of protesters should ever be justified, hopefully a dangerous precedent hasn't been set.

And not one Western Leader has condemned the draconian actions of Justin Trudeau. All part of the Davos clique?

Me neither, but these were criminals terrorising peaceful citizens and causing 10s of millions of financial damage.

For no other reason then they bitchuted themselves retarded about the pandemic. 😕

Frozen bank account is the least of their worries, criminally and financially.

Sure weren't they all having a great time together just a few weeks ago in Davos, including Putin

Makes you wonder what the Ukraine situation is all about really

Saw this linked to today...there's a real push for cbdc's going on right now...i saw rishi pushing that in the uk recently and now this polished video from canada's bankers association

it's the speed at which all this is happening which is the most unsettling

Not a single U.S. citizen has been indicted for Russian collusion. It’s a debunked conspiracy theory.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,934 ✭✭✭✭astrofool

That's not what the Mueller report indictments say.

So who are these people who have been indicted for Russian collusion that nobody knows about?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,934 ✭✭✭✭astrofool

It's all in the Mueller report and linked indictments, all is in the public sphere, I'm surprised you all missed it (well, not really, it's pretty par for the course in this alternate reality thread). Grrr on mRNA, grrr on public health, oh don't call me.out on it, I may get the vapours.

So you can't name the people who have been indicted for Russian collusion but you know it's somewhere in the report? Surely there would haven been criminal trials for those people that we would have heard about or some news outlet would have reported on? Were they convicted, what was their sentence, what were there names even?

    CT thread that way indeed.

You better go tell the man himself so. Here's a quote from Mueller

“We did not address ‘collusion,’ which is not a legal term,” Mueller added. “Rather, we focused on whether the evidence was sufficient to charge any member of the campaign with taking part in a criminal conspiracy. It was not.”

"Well, yeah, you know, that's just, like, your opinion, man"

Again, not a conspiracy and that line mostly came as a result of the administrations efforts to try and quash the report (Mueller refutes Trump’s ‘no collusion, no obstruction’ line – POLITICO), however close trump allies such as Manafort, Flynn, Gates, Stone, Cohen among others, had guilty pleas and either served jail time or got pardoned by trump, the whole trump administration was a rats nest.

But as "collusion" isn't a legal term, then of course it can't be prosecuted under, no one has ever gone to jail for collusion. trumps allies did go to jail for trying to influence the election using russian contacts, trump only got out of it by claiming presidential privilege (and hamstringing the investigation), vs. the big lie where no one has been indicted and no one has served any jail time.

But it does make sense that those most angry at the world on this thread are trump clingers.

(and it's of course way off topic due to brenbrady's complete lack of political knowledge)

Most went to jail for either lying to the FBI or having dodgy tax and accounting practices.

Anyway, it has nothing to do with this thread so I'll leave it.

Feel free to start one, it'll inevitably be moved out of it due to not being a conspiracy, though not surprising to see a lot of the posters on here are big fans of the orange fart cloud. All the faux concern is hilarious.

Indeed, Canada leading the way, little wonder with Klaus Schwab touting that his WEF has "infiltrated" and controlled "more than half the Trudeau cabinet ", all being graduates of his "Young Global Leaders" program, just like our Leo the Liar. Sure weren't Tony Blair and Gordon Brown calling for this Digital ID shortly after they started the last Gulf War. Surely nothing to do with them being graduates of Schwab's very first "Young Global Leaders" class (along with Bill Gates)

Does seem to be backfiring on Leos buddy, Herr Trudeau. Seems to be causing a run on Canadian banks, folks in Canada had enough last week when the Trudeau regime crossed the line on banking trust, unlawfully freezing personal bank accounts on a whim, causing many to pull their accounts and move their savings across the border.

Probably didnt help with Trudeau's nut case deputy (another Schwab Young Global Leader) saying they could keep the power to pull your bank account at any time without any due process and his Justice minister saying just an allegation of being "pro-Trump" would be sufficient to do so. Five main canadian banks not commenting but all developed problems with their online and internet banking services during the week. Not a peep denying it from the "Fact Checkers"

How could you ever trust banks again after what happened in Canada last week? Trudeau made a massive mistake doing what he did, but it was a blessing for the rest of us. That was our warning. And those that don't heed it, well, tough on them I guess.

The control that is going on behind the scenes was also made clearly evident in how quickly Trudeau was forced to back track on it all.

I'm looking at all the headlines everywhere about Ukraine and I can't help but think it's a distraction.

The most interesting thing I read today was about the cyber attack on McDonalds...and also BA systems are down...they're denying an attack but I don't really believe them.

This seems to be following the narrative that cyber attacks all over the world are the next step.

What’s happening in Canada should be a sobering wake-up call for the whole world. Peaceful protest is all but finished, if it disagrees with whatever narrative/agenda is in the table it is dissent.

Governments have been upfront about their intend to control dissent through financial blackmail, hence the push for programmable central bank digital currencies (CBDCs).

Disagree and you become an unperson. Chinese social credit system on steroids.

    https://www.cpomagazine.com/cyber-security/suspected-ransomware-cyber-attack-disrupts-expeditors-internationals-logistics-operations-worldwide/

Logistics operations company Expeditors International shut down its computer systems after a targeted cyber attack that limited its ability in managing customs and distribution activities. Expeditors said the February 20 incident affected its global operations forcing it to initiate crisis management and business continuity plans.

With a turnover of $10.1 billion and over 18,000 employees, Expenditors International manages distributions in over 350 locations globally. Expeditors International’s services include transportation, warehousing, distribution, and customs.

The incident could also have widespread impact on the already stressed supply chain trying to overcome the effects of COVID-19 and Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

Looks like Swissport and Hellmann Worldwide logistics also were hit recently...

Any mention of the US's truck convoy. "The Peoples Convoy" on RTE?

6 or 7 joined up yesterday in Indiana, so now made up of over 10000 vehicles stretching over 70 miles long.

Be interesting to see what happens when this lot gets to DC?

Same thing that happened in Canada and NZ... the Police will bate the bejesus out of them!

No seriously. The Governments of the world are effectively controlling dissent on this. They'll ratchet up the campaign to smear the protesters, coerce them into dispersing and eventually rout the die hards who don't cave. It's tried and trusted at this stage.

yet more cyber attacks...the wef narrative seems to be gaining momentum...lots of people have been warning global cyber attacks were the next step well before ukraine kicked off..

Canadian explains why the country is fractured. It’s never been as cohesive as it’s represented. You usually only hear from one part of it and the others only when issues come up in the news.

Jesus, that is a stupid video. His comparisons are far far wide of the mark, comparing Manitoba to North Dakota...he probably has been to either if he is trying to compare them.

LThe good ol truckers were protesting here at the weekend in Vancouver outside the convention centre. Why, you ask? When all of our restrictions have been lifted (no masks or vaccine passports for a few weeks now), because Bill Gates was speaking at TED talks, and they didn’t want any 5G around these parts.

If you supported this crowd, you are as thick and stupid as they are.

Same crowd and same tactics in Dublin and this week protesting fuel prices. Threatening “complete lockdown”.... We’re well used to them at this stage lads.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,410 ✭✭✭Potatoeman

Freezing protesters bank accounts in Canada was way OTT. The whole government need to go for that.

I really don’t understand all these protests shutting down traffic for ordinary people. It’s not the way to get people on your side for any cause. It seems every other month it’s another cause doing this crap. Protest outside the Dail.

Edit: Also now no one cares about vaccine passports. It’s all disappeared and now it all about Ukraine.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,050 ✭✭✭✭Frank Bullitt

Exactly, I think the response was far too stern, but their disturbance and actions deserved some sort of recourse. They were an absolute pain, and still are. It boils my blood seeing a bunch of morons chant "Freedom" when there is a war going on in Ukraine where legit freedoms are under threat. They don't see their privilege for what it is.

The tide turned against them long ago, now it is just bafflement as to why they are actually protesting...and over what?

The freedom to earn a living and access basic services without it being conditional on taking unwanted pharmaceutical products are "legit" freedoms. Just because some other people are being killed with guns and bombs doesn't invalidate it, they're in two different categories.

Two-thirds of Ukrainians are unvaccinated incidentally so if the passes had been kept on many of them would be restrained in their countries of refuge.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,050 ✭✭✭✭Frank Bullitt

They are totally free to do that, they always have been. If a private business have their own set of rules for entry or service, tough luck. They are clearly free to drive around and make a racket and kick up a fuss. And they are not restricted from working at all, truckers were able to work anywhere in Canada, and currently can.

So again, why are they still protesting? Is it because, maybe...they don't actually have a real agenda and it is all based in conspiracy theory (5G injections and so on).

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 18,231 ✭✭✭✭Dohnjoe

Nothing to do with freedom. It's health precautions. If you want to disagree with certain health precautions, fine, go protest it, but do so legally and peacefully (as pointed out countless times, most people understandably have strong negative opinions on those people who protest against health precautions, vaccines, masks, etc for obvious reasons)

People have a right to protest, peacefully. Whatever the belief. However they don't have a "right" to block motorways and cities and selfishly impact other people's rights and livelihoods. Doesn't matter what they are protesting, that's illegal. There's no validation for it.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 40,795 ✭✭✭✭Boggles

There is still a bunch of dangerously stupid fúckwíts "protesting" every week around my area.

    The signs are

Death Jabs, Tony has to Go, Freedoms, etc.

    Absolutely unhinged.
