Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Nuns are some of the most successful and canny people in the world. They set up communes where reasonably stable wealth & generally excellent physical & mental health is enjoyed for a lifetime.

    My grand aunt was a nun. She used to come to our house for her summer holidays. She would arrive and go straight to her room- change out of her uniform and into her civvies and then sit in the living room smoking and drinking gin for the week.

    She was great craic. Just not in to site-seeing when there was booze and smokes to be had.
