Deleting posts

Why can't we delete a post? I just posted a blank post by virtue of pressing the button twice. It won't allow me to delete it. Why? Surely such things are just cluttering up the website?

On the old platform users were only able to delete posts for 24 hour after they had made a post. On this platform, we can;t set any kind of time limit on deleting so have limited it to editing posts instead until that is possible.

And on mobile version is it just me or can no one delete a picture from there post once posted

It should be possible but seems to be tricky for some people. I can do it by backspacing and deleting it that way.
