Recommendations please - Laptop for Browsing

No particular budget except looking for best value for money (and cheaper obviously a bonus!).

Just needed for Internet browsing and using basic programs - maybe watching netflix the very odd time if travelling.... and needs to be relatively portable for travelling a few times per year.

you're not going to get a decent quality screen for viewing movies etc in the cheapest laptops

need to go to about 650 euro for a decent ips screen with good colour coverage

like the matebook d15 2021 edition with the 11th gen i5

Preferably under €750 or under but could stretch to €800ish. ... its for my OH and they just said that they would prefer a bigger screen (17") but thats not a critical.

go for the matebook d15 with the 11th gen (11 prefix in cpu code) intel i5 in Argos then

think that it's 690 euro or so on sale at the mo down from 770

solid full-metal build option and decent quality screen and it's light enough to travel with.

light weight for a 15.6 inch screen at 1.5 kg

very little choice in the 17 inch screen laptops

should last years
