Hi all, we have a part of our front garden that we have put some plumb slate and a border down. It's directly in front of our garden wall and gets no direct sunlight. We want to put a potted plant in between some ornaments. The ceramic pot is about 30cms diameter and 25/30cms deep. Looking for a shrub/plant that will fit in the pot and grow maybe a foot or two in height. Width not an issue. We like anything with a bit of color but will use anything that will grow in shade basically 100% of the time.

    Thanks in advance

Sarcococca might work for you, not too big, evergreen and sweetly scented if rather insignificant flowers in mid winter. You will struggle to find anything with colour or variegation for that situation.

Thanks for your input. Will look into that.
