Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I think it's great when bands can laugh at themselves through joking, satire, not too serious..a lot of music can be straight to the point..love songs.. heartache etc... sometimes also making a good point. The Bloodhound Gang...they made great music..some may have seen them as a joke band but they did it well...ie the thread title...they make several fun musical references throughout the song not to mention their other stuff...

Some satire/fun can be more serious but still very fun.... Pulp's Common People...

I remember I was 15 and even then thought and understood it was brilliant when George Michael brought out Outside in retaliation which was a much more direct/personal approach...

Queen were also very good at this...Fat Bottomed Girls, I'm in love with my car ..
