Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Scratch on new double glaze window

Hi, I got new double glaze windows installed 2 days ago, While I was wiping them down today I saw that there is 1 long scratch on the bottom of the glass in the spare bedroom window, this scratch is about 5 inches long but it’s not in the line of sight! I know getting windows installed in a house can lead to little scuffs…

Hi,

I know getting windows installed in a house can lead to little scuffs on the windows but should I say something about this, I am ment to pay them tomorrow, would you complain if you were me?

I would, most places would change the glass over fairly quickly (depending on time to fabricate). We had a triple glazed unit installed where the outer pane cracked and they were back 2 weeks later to replace it, final payment wasn't due till after all the snags were done.
