Firestick no longer allowing vpn use to use my UK Prime account

Well, had a good run. I have a prime account from when I lived in the UK, still pay for it after 4 years being back in Ireland. Just needed to use Nord on the firestick to say I was in the UK (this is all legal mods 🙂). Got all the sports, extra content, etc (I pay for it all tbf). Working up until last night, and now today access blocked while using a vpn. Will have to open a new Irish account I guess. Is the difference between Ireland and UK Prime as bad as it was a few years ago?

I would say if you keep trying servers it will probably work. There are over 100 servers on nord per location. They can't keep on top of them all as they change so often. Once you find one that is working stay on it.

You sure? I'm pretty sure they're just checking if I'm using a vpn right? No location check after that, just blocked. The message they display is clear that the reason I can't view is because I'm using a vpn. Will try different settings anyway

Update: IT'S BACK. Ha, looks like you're right, changed servers a few times and were back in action 🙂

I had a similar problem last week, I deleted the VPN app I was using and downloaded it again, worked perfect after it.

If it does eventually go down permanently and you have Prime for the shipping you may not need a new account. You can access the Irish catalogue if you change your content country to Ireland even with a UK Prime subscription
