    Hi

situation is with a vacant property. Owner was living there as hoc but has since died. It’s unclear the status of house ownership.

The trees have grown unchecked from a height perspective. Owner in adjoining property has cut all encroaching branches. They want to reduce the height now but can’t trace the owners for permission. Is there anything that can be done legally. The owner when alive reduced the height of two of them closest the heigh out of concern they’d damage the property if the fell. they offer a significant light blocker to the adjoining property. Any ideas as adjoining property would only take action within the law.
