    Windows x64

Desktop has been running like a train.

Tend to install updates when prompted.

Today it booted to a black screen with a description of the spec and, at the bottom, "Chassis Intrude! Please check your system. Fatal error....system halted."

I shut it down and rebooted. Worked fine.

Just wondering if there might be something coming down the tracks and should I be taking precautionary steps?

    Thanks.

    D.

There may be a switch connected to the chassis of the pc to detect if the chassis has been opened.

It could be a false warning as well.

You can turn off the chassis intrude feature in the bios.
