Email from Organisation

    I receive emails regularly about issues that are private and sensitive. On most of the emails received it states, "this email has been sent outside of the Organisation".

    Does this mean it is been sent from the senders own device and not from the organisations system?

    Any help appreciated.

    It means that the sender sent the email to somebody outside their organisation i.e. you.

    No, it means it comes from outside your organisation. It's an Office 365 thing.
