Hey got a huge bill for electricity, my supplier suggested to get onto an Electrician to read the meter and test the appliances, first the suggested an Engineer from ESB or an Independent electrician, has anyone had any experiences doing this? Thanks

    What's a huge bill?

    What is your unit rate?

Were previous bills based on estimated readings?

When did you last change supplier?

You need to answer those questions first

You should be able to read the meter yourself. If its an estimated bill it may be miles off reality - in either direction.

Bill was €600 for 2 months.

I did a meter reading, it knocked off only €90

Then a week later the bill jumped to €900

Rang the supplier yesterday now it's €20000

Unit usage 2588 - Unit type Day

    Unit price 0.2255 Day
