Siemens SPC Connect App

    I just changed both the engineer code and user code on the SPC4320 panel using the web browser.

    Now I can't login to SPC Connect. When I open the app it tries to connect but comes up with an error message.


    Getting panel summary failed

    (ERROR: Authentication Failed)


    Do I have to update something in the app. I went into Setting....Edit/Notifications and can see there is a field for a Panel Password. Should this be changed to the new user code. I tried it and it made no difference.


    Will try a panel reboot next.

    Solved.

    Logged into SPC Connect on the web and there was a message there saying that there was an issue with the username / password.

    Updated the PIN there on the web portal and the app synced immediately.
