I've been trying to get a guy to automate my existing gates for over a year and a half. Getting few up waiting i was thinking of buying a kit and installing it myself. Something like this Anyone any experience doing this?

I've done my own roller gate and it was very straight forward, very well documented in the manual.
I don't know about some cheapo Chinese gear , I used facc.
Is it for a farm gate?

I fitted a Ducati two gate kit (from Amazon) - mains with battery backup and option for solar. Motors etc are all low voltage.
I had to do a bit of fettling to make it exactly fit my gates and pillars, but it has turned out very well.
