    In my constant search for "nostalgia" plants, I've been looking for a while for a Chimonantus (aka Wintersweet).

    I've searched on the websites of various garden centres and nurseries, but at best they're out of stock with no mention of when they'll come back in again, and that's if they're listed at all.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks.

    I got one from Johnstown Garden centre a few years ago. They dont always put all their plants on the website so it might be worth giving them a call.

    Thank you both! They both have it (fair play!) - Johnston don't deliver, I haven't figured out if Rare Plants do but I'll give them a ring.

    @Nell B, how's your own specimen doing?

    It was never brilliant but it did OK for a few years now the spot has become a but too shady for it! Not sure if I could move it. However the flowers I do get on it are strongly scented. Well worth planting.
