I'm a first time mom to a 3 month old and recently started using alvababy reusable pocket nappies. I'm a big fan and love using them. However, I haven't been able to find any info online about how many inserts to use. I have a mix of microfiber and bamboo. Some inserts are one layer, some are 5 layers and some are in between. I know every baby is different, especially older babies, but would like to know exactly which inserts other moms are using and how many layers?

I used to use one bamboo or two microfibre and would get about 2.5 hours out of that around that age. Then I had to increase to a bamboo and a microfibre as she got older.
