Hi all, got this pack of seed from a friend of mine and planted them about 3 week ago. The more I look at them and find they don't look like normal tomato I ever planted, wonder anyone know what they are? Thank you in advance.

I agree that they don't look like tomatoes. Do they have the typical tomato smell?

Thank blackbox and no, they don't have a strong tomato smell like my other plants.

I agree, they are not tomatoes. The first true leaves look like peppers.

Thanks Deub, though the seeds don't look like peppers to me.

Aubergine? They look like my (slightly older) aubergine seedlings.

I have the same packet of seeds - I got them last year through my the library, GIY were doing a promotion in conjunction with local libraries. I only planted them this year and my seedlings are a couple of weeks behind yours but I've just noticed the same oval type is beginning to appear where as my other tomato seedlings have the more traditional leaf.

Let's see what we end up with!
