Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi,

As now Immigration is NOT stamping passports with Stamps, and only renewing IRP cards, can I travel and return to Ireland without hassle with the IRP card alone ?

Has any Non-EU traveled and returned to Ireland without Stamp in Passport but valid IRP card ?

    Thank You

Irish citizen here that has worked in immigration.

The IRP replaces stamps in passports and also the need to get a re-entry visa.

If you have a valid passport and a valid IRP you shouldn’t experience any problems re-entering the State.

    Hi

We are due to travel on 20 July but my partner has discovered he can no longer update his IRP in the immigration office as before, and must now do it online. I wanted to know if he shows printed evidence of having applied for an extension (he has paid the 300 euro fee), then can he use this to travel on 20th? Any advice would be very much appreciated as a much longed for family holiday hangs in the balance. Thanks in advance.

Your partner will need to apply for a visa from the Irish Embassy in their home country. They should apply as soon as they arrive. They should submit the proof of the renewal application. It should be processed quickly.
