Was intended, at least to an extent, but by playing it that way he was effectively not trying to hole it IMO, just trying to make sure of giving himself a chance at a 4. If you were trying to hole it your landing spot is on the green.

Looks like it’s probably won him the tournament at this point. Pity, was hoping for a really good back 9.

We want an entertaining finish not one player 4 or 5 shots clear, no matter who they are.

wanting a closer finish is fine but describing his fine iron play as "lucky" is absolute nonsense.

I'm actually loving the fact that Scheffler isn't bottling this like many predicted and is actually increasing his lead.
