HKC 1070 - RF Low Battery

Hi,

Am getting the error on the keypad RF Low Battery and voice message saying Device battery needs replacing.

Ive run a volt meter on the motion detectors - 2.7 and 2.89 volts so no issues there.

Where else are there batteries being used? Are there batteries in the contact on the windows? Would be grateful for some advice.

As a note I don't have the Engineer code. Am left with no log I think.

If alarm is wireless then there is batteries in all door contacts. I am not sure but typically they are weird size expensive type.

There is a battery in main panel in hot press .

Attached are the two types of sensors used and don't see any batteries. These are similar used on windows and doors. I replaced the backup battery in the hotpress three years ago so not sure that's the problem.

They are wired sensors.

You need to look at wire free devices since its saying RF low battery.

External bell, Internal bell, keypads, , motion or sensors

Changed the battery on the PIR which had a voltage of 2.7v from the 3v battery and error disappeared.

Glad you got it sorted.

Using just a meter to determine the actual voltage of a battery is not the best option.

A pulse meter should be used.
