I've recently moved back home so now ballyhoura is my local hill. I've only been up there once and tried out some of the official trails. They're pretty fun but a bit tame. Check out the trails from the recent 2nduro event, start off from the Ballinaboola Woods carpark. You'll probably find plenty of Strava activity from the event so you should be able to find them easy enough.
